Carrier Procurement - Dry Van (Logistics)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States; onsite at the downtown Little Rock office

Salary: $40,000 base salary plus commissions; typical profit-sharing contribution is 15% of eligible compensation.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners nationwide.
• Source truckload capacity and negotiate carrier rates while maximizing profitability.
• Use transportation management systems and load boards to book and manage freight.
• Monitor shipments, communicate updates and delays, and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Collaborate with sales to meet customer commitments and resolve transportation challenges.
• Analyze market conditions, identify capacity opportunities, and meet activity and performance goals.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Self-motivated, competitive, results-oriented approach with attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills by phone, email, and internal collaboration.
• Ability to work extended periods at a computer workstation and occasionally work extended hours.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, customer service, sales, or carrier procurement is preferred but not required.
