Customs Brokerage Customer Service (Logistics)

What you will do

• Manage timely import and export customs clearance and freight movement.
• Enter, transpose, verify, and submit customs declaration information.
• Review shipment documents for accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.
• Track customs files, coordinate inspections, and resolve issues with customs authorities.
• Communicate with customers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders about international shipments.
• Maintain compliance with customs regulations, internal procedures, export controls, and restricted-goods requirements.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of customs brokerage processes, systems, legislation, classification, valuation, and origin.
• Understanding of air and ocean documentation, air, road, and ocean transportation, and Incoterms.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Fluent English.
