Transcon Agent, Inbound

Location: Melrose Park, Illinois, United States

Salary: $20.00–$28.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

What you will do

• Create import files and manage shipment events using the Transcon DDL workflow and related tools.
• Request and update delivery appointments, expected delivery dates, and shipment milestones.
• Dispatch shipments based on arrival information and confirmed appointments.
• Monitor GPS-equipped loads and trucks, ensuring paperwork, seals, and GPS units are assigned before pickup.
• Verify that house air waybills and shipments are loaded onto the correct trucks.
• Follow customer procedures, escalate issues when necessary, maintain compliance, and meet KPI standards.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of related domestic operations experience.
• Operations or logistics industry knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a professional attitude.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and OneNote.
• Ability to work onsite in Melrose Park, Illinois, United States.
