Manager, Business Systems (NetSuite)

Location: Remote within the United States; San Francisco-area employees spend one day per week at headquarters.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own NetSuite configuration, workflows, SuiteScript, permissions, and core Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain processes.
• Build and maintain integrations with e-commerce, Marketplace, logistics, payment, tax, and finance systems using Celigo, APIs, webhooks, and custom ETL.
• Use AI coding agents to develop and debug SuiteScript and integrations while establishing standards for code review, sandbox testing, reconciliation, and production releases.
• Own EDI partner onboarding, mappings, and transaction-exception resolution.
• Lead the business-systems roadmap and decide when to buy, configure, integrate, or build.
• Manage a NetSuite engineer and own system reliability, controls, documentation, access reviews, runbooks, and audit support.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration and SuiteScript 2.x development.
• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, including safe validation and deployment of generated code.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, Celigo or Boomi, custom ETL, and strong SQL skills with transactional business data.
• Hands-on EDI experience and strong knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, revenue, payments, and month-end close.
• Experience leading or mentoring a technical systems owner, engineer, or administrator, with strong communication and production ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware, manufacturing, or consumer electronics.
• Experience with multi-region e-commerce, multiple entities or currencies, 3PLs, serialized inventory, RMAs, or complex fulfillment.
• Google Cloud, data warehousing, Looker, LookML, MCP, AI-powered internal tools, or NetSuite certification experience.
• Experience designing financial controls or supporting audits in a high-growth company.
