Software Engineer II (Automotive)

Location: Remote in Washington, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Salary: $123,339–$185,009 USD annually.

hirify.global is building a direct-to-consumer electric vehicle brand with customizable, affordable vehicles and a digital platform supporting the customer ownership journey.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deliver digital platform features and software components independently.
• Develop customer-facing functionality for vehicle discovery, customization, and ownership management.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and quality ownership for shipped software.
• Work with UX and product partners to understand customer needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Solve varied technical problems, evaluate trade-offs, and make sound implementation decisions.
• Share knowledge with teammates and help others become productive.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and shipping features in customer-facing software systems.
• Working knowledge of web services, APIs, modern development practices, testing, and code review.
• Experience consuming or integrating third-party APIs.
• Ability to solve varied problems and work independently on day-to-day tasks.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with ecommerce or marketplace systems.
