Civil Engineer

Location: Portland, Oregon; other location: Ridgefield, Washington. Work-from-home flexibility is available, with site visits as needed.

What you will do

• Support project teams working on water, wastewater, stormwater, and land development infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical work under qualified supervision.
• Draft and model designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit.
• Prepare project plans, specifications, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs.
• Support engineering, drafting, planning, and construction administration activities.
• Complete site visits as needed and participate in ongoing learning of industry standards and codes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with CAD, Civil 3D modeling, and drafting; relevant coursework counts.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, GIS, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to prepare, read, and understand technical documents.
• Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• EIT certification.
