Senior Accountant (Fitness)

Location: Boca Raton, Florida, United States; hybrid work with onsite days Monday through Thursday and optional remote work on Fridays. The hybrid model also applies to offices in Woodbury, Minnesota, and Seattle, Washington.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the monthly close process, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Prepare payroll and benefits entries, accruals, journal entries, intercompany transactions, and departmental allocations.
• Manage construction-in-progress and fixed assets across multiple brands.
• Reconcile complex balance sheet and income statement accounts and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare actual-versus-budget variance analysis and support month-end reporting.
• Assist with financial and tax audits, process improvements, policies, and internal control initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of private or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of financial statements, general ledger functions, close processes, and accounting principles.
• Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• CPA license.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Workday or payroll-related accounting experience.
• Understanding of multi-brand accounting and allocations.
