Production Supervisor (Automotive)

What you will do

• Coordinate production teams and work activities to achieve planned output and operational objectives.
• Supervise staffing, machine assignments, material supply, equipment availability, and production of critical parts.
• Lead daily mentoring, communication, teamwork, problem solving, and employee development activities.
• Enforce safety procedures, equipment training, personal protective equipment use, housekeeping, and operating standards.
• Monitor process and product quality, inspections, work instructions, control plans, and customer complaint resolution.
• Initiate corrective actions and support continuous improvement to improve area profitability and meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Completed engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a production supervisor and 2 years in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO/QS 9000, manufacturing processes, PPAPs, control plans, and material control practices.
• Knowledge of industrial safety, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, corrective action processes, and Six Sigma problem-solving techniques.
• Strong people management, leadership, analytical, communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English is preferred; knowledge of the TRESS system is also preferred.
