Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and supervise daily production and assembly operations to achieve productivity, schedule, quality, and safety targets.
• Coach employees, assign work according to production schedules, and coordinate with supervisors and other departments.
• Monitor housekeeping and correct safety issues while ensuring compliance with environmental, quality, productivity, and health and safety standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects and take corrective action when required.
• Coordinate maintenance and engineering needs, analyze inventory, and purchase equipment or materials for production.
• Prepare department budgets, production reports, and operational records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or another technical engineering discipline, or 3–5 years of production supervision experience.
• At least 2 years of industry experience.
• Leadership, influencing, communication, and people management skills.
• Ability to lead process improvements in a team environment and manage multiple operations.
• Knowledge of environmental, productivity, quality, and health and safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills and high integrity.
