Marketing Intern (Fintech)

Location: San Diego, CA, United States; onsite

Salary: $18.00–$22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct market research, analyze competitors, and support marketing strategies and leadership reports.
• Create and schedule content, monitor engagement metrics, and develop ideas to strengthen online brand presence.
• Draft and edit newsletters, press releases, email campaigns, blog content, and articles while maintaining brand consistency.
• Maintain calendars and project trackers, coordinate internal communications, and support vendor management and daily operations.
• Plan virtual and in-person events, manage logistics and attendee communications, and contribute to post-event reporting.

Requirements

• Interest in marketing and one of the focus areas: strategy, social media, communications, administrative support, or event coordination.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, California.
• Ability to complete a 12-week summer internship during one of the available sessions.
• Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening.
