What you will do

• Research kinase-mediated signaling pathways, kinase targets, phosphorylation events, and cellular outcomes.
• Design and implement cell-based assays across cancer cell lines, primary cells, immune cells, neuronal cells, muscle cells, and other models.
• Translate structural biology findings into functional studies of kinase regulation, signaling, and cellular phenotypes.
• Lead multiple structure-guided cell biology projects and collaborate with cell-based assay and structural biology researchers.
• Review literature and experimental data, troubleshoot assays, and perform statistical analysis using graphing software or R scripts.
• Prepare research reports, communicate results, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area is required; PhD is preferred.
• Ten years of relevant experience with a PhD, thirteen years with a Master's degree, or fifteen years with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience analyzing protein kinases and phosphorylation-dependent signaling pathways.
• Expertise in cell culture and multiple methods of exogenous protein expression.
• Experience with cloning, PCR, qRT-PCR, sterile technique, transfection, transduction, or infection.
• Experience with immunoassays, Western blotting, protein interaction analysis, flow cytometry, reporter assays, phenotypic assays, microscopy, and cellular fractionation.
