Data Solution Consultant (Payments)

What you will do

• Translate complex payment data into actionable insights and clear data-driven stories for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyze and visualize performance across issuers, schemes, platforms, and merchant configurations.
• Recommend improvements to authorization, authentication, routing efficiency, approval rates, revenue protection, and cost reduction.
• Investigate recurring and complex authorization issues and support systemic resolution with issuers.
• Gather and prioritize optimization requirements, coordinate team delivery, and track initiative pipelines.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, Data, Schemes, Issuers, and commercial stakeholders to implement solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent education, training, or work experience within payments.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of Worldpay products and related services, with deeper knowledge of supported products.
• Basic data analysis and visualization skills using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, and SQL.
• Deep understanding of the payments industry and authorization pathways, including gateways, platforms, acquirers, networks, and issuers.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and project-management skills; flexibility of working hours is required.

Nice to have

• Existing connections across the Worldpay business and the ability to drive cross-business collaboration.
• Knowledge of different platforms such as WPG, VAP, and NAP, as well as varied merchant profiles.
