Lead Software Engineer (EDA)

What you will do

• Research, design, implement, and optimize algorithms for physical synthesis and routing engines.
• Develop robust and scalable C/C++ software on Linux platforms.
• Build high-performance, multithreaded systems for advanced semiconductor design flows.
• Collaborate with global R&D teams and product engineers to deliver routing and physical synthesis solutions.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with Linux development.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of physical design flows, timing analysis, and routing algorithms.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and performance optimization.
• Experience with GPU programming.
• Familiarity with Tcl or Python for automation.
• Prior exposure to EDA tools or IC design environments.
