Software Engineer (C++, Python, and JavaScript)

Location: Onsite at the customer site in Springfield, Virginia, United States

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop applications, APIs, and enterprise software solutions that support analytic functions.
• Analyze stakeholder needs, system flows, data usage, requirements, and operational feasibility.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain solutions in an Agile environment.
• Create application tests and testing strategies to improve development and deployed operations.
• Develop scripting solutions to automate manual processes and support throughput demands.
• Brief stakeholders on development and service issues and recommend operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• US citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI and CI-Poly eligibility.
• 4–6+ years of experience designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems.
• Proficiency with multiple programming languages, including C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with brownfield applications, DevSecOps frameworks, architecture and data-flow diagrams, containerization, orchestration, Linux CLI, Bash, and Agile delivery.
• Strong analytical, reasoning, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• In-scope Counterintelligence Polygraph and a master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• DoD Approved 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• 7+ years of enterprise systems experience.
• Experience with React, Ansible, Airflow, Django, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, computer vision, computer graphics, homography, GIS data, or DoD organizations.
