What you will do

• Manage accounting activities for assigned departments, including budgeting, outlooks, and coding accounts payable invoices.
• Maintain and reconcile selected balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare accurate, timely journal entries and monthly department forecasts.
• Act as a liaison between department executives and the accounting department.
• Support finance-related IT projects, ad hoc accounting requests, and new business activities.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management and follow applicable legal policies.

Requirements

• Senior-level accounting experience suitable for managing departmental accounting responsibilities.
• Ability to prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and produce forecasts accurately and on time.
• Ability to collaborate with department executives and accounting stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, Texas.
• Ability to perform general office functions, including sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is required.
