Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics

Location: Canada; candidates must be based in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo. The role is described as remote and hybrid, with occasional in-person collaboration expected in a hub city.

Salary: CAD 87,780–163,020 annually, with a midpoint of CAD 125,400.

What you will do

• Own analytical workstreams for cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives.
• Translate stakeholder objectives and ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Conduct exploratory analysis and deep dives to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Apply segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, impact measurement, and experimentation.
• Develop metrics, reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Communicate findings through clear narratives, recommendations, assumptions, and limitations while collaborating with Analytics, BI, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science.

Requirements

• Expert-level SQL skills and experience working with complex relational data.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, business, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Experience with exploratory analysis, performance measurement, custom analytics, and analytical techniques such as segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, impact evaluation, or experimentation.
• Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively, navigate ambiguity, and adapt as priorities evolve.
• Comfort using AI-assisted analytical tools and validating their outputs responsibly.

Nice to have

• Python experience for analysis, automation, or reproducible workflows.
• Experience with SaaS, subscription businesses, or cross-functional business analytics.
