Senior Software Engineer, Vulnerability Management (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship scalable technical solutions across multiple hirify.global services.
• Build a platform that collects security findings from container images, cloud, hosts, and code scanning, assigns ownership, and tracks remediation through risk scores, SLAs, and exceptions.
• Design and deploy software supply chain controls, including authenticated package and container proxies, across hirify.global Actions, Docker builds, and Dependabot.
• Build production systems that meet compliance requirements such as FedRAMP while preserving APIs used by other teams.
• Collaborate with service owners, platform engineering, cloud security, and compliance teams.
• Provide technical leadership through mentorship, pairing, code reviews, architecture proposals, prototyping, and on-call participation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering or related technical experience, or equivalent experience and education.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Experience with production software development and maintainable system design.
• Ability to collaborate across service ownership, platform engineering, cloud security, and compliance functions.
• Availability for on-call and first responder rotations.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience with Go, Python, or a similar general-purpose or scripting language.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud environments or Cloud Native Computing Foundation concepts.
