Software Engineers (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote

Salary: $155,000–$225,000 per year, plus stock options

What you will do

• Architect and build software for complex, high-volume data environments with a focus on quality and data integrity.
• Design data structures, algorithms, APIs, and distributed systems that support large-scale and high-throughput workloads.
• Build and maintain Python data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations for analytics and machine learning applications.
• Develop Ruby on Rails user-facing applications and collaborate with frontend developers to connect interfaces with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, data storage, and warehousing solutions.
• Improve coding standards through guidelines, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience building high-quality software in a fast-paced CI/CD environment.
• Strong understanding of server-side logic, efficient data handling, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing APIs, working with data pipelines, and handling large-scale data.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and connect technical decisions to customer outcomes.
• Comfort working autonomously in an evolving environment with changing objectives and user feedback.
• Experience with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Python, relational databases, analytical datastores, and cloud services.
