Security Automation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable security automations and playbooks for detection, triage, and incident response.
• Integrate security platforms, business applications, and internal tools through REST APIs and webhooks.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows for security alert enrichment, triage support, and reporting with appropriate guardrails and evaluation.
• Manage automation infrastructure with Terraform and implement reliable CI/CD deployment processes.
• Monitor workflow health and performance, troubleshoot failures, and measure operational impact and time savings.
• Partner with Security Operations analysts and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, DevOps, or security engineering.
• Strong Python skills, including maintainable code, testing, error handling, and logging.
• Practical experience building and integrating REST APIs and using Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including serverless or workflow automation services.
• Knowledge of secure secrets management, identity and access controls, and permissions.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and SOC 2 security frameworks and standards.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2) or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOAR platforms or API integrations for SIEM and EDR systems.
• Experience designing workflows powered by large language models.
• Background in security operations, SOC work, incident response, or security detection.
• Relevant Azure, Terraform, AWS Security, or GIAC certification.
• Experience with Go.
