Software Engineer - SDET

Location: US - Austin, TX; at least 3 days per week in the office. The role requires 5–10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $86,500–$134,400 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software applications.
• Write code, complete programming tasks, and perform application testing and debugging.
• Develop test automation tools using technologies such as Selenium, Java, REST APIs, Python, and Groovy.
• Document installation, maintenance procedures, processes, designs, test results, and analysis.
• Define system requirements with users and provide technical information to stakeholders.
• Lead root cause analysis, defect resolution, and code and test design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or HTML.
• Experience with software testing principles, quality assurance practices, software engineering methodologies, and Agile development.
• Ability to contribute across software development, quality engineering, test automation, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, lead initiatives, solve problems proactively, and navigate ambiguity.
