Associate General Counsel (Legal Compliance)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel required for the twice-annual hirify.global Retreat.

Salary: $160,960–$181,080 per year.

What you will do

• Provide strategic legal advice supporting organizational objectives and business stakeholders.
• Manage legal risk and compliance across intellectual property, data privacy, commercial contracts, legal operations, corporate governance, and litigation.
• Advise on product and service offerings, deal structuring, and complex agreements.
• Draft and negotiate commercial and other organizational agreements.
• Translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance for leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor legal trends and support organizational growth and innovation.

Requirements

• Must live in the United States.
• 8–10 years of legal experience focused on one or more relevant legal practice areas.
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-approved law school and active Bar membership.
• Demonstrated legal subject-matter expertise in a technology or nonprofit environment.
• Strong strategic execution, problem-solving, communication, digital literacy, diligence, and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel to the twice-annual hirify.global Retreat.
