Tools and PLM Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own the CAD and PLM engineering systems domain, including Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE, CAD, ECAD, simulation, and CAM tools.
• Serve as the primary CAD expert for modeling, assembly, data, performance, licensing, administration, configuration, upgrades, and vendors.
• Design engineering-data processes and integrations that connect released parts, BOMs, drawings, and changes with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality.
• Define standards for part numbering, release, change management, BOM structures, and EBOM-to-MBOM handoffs.
• Set the engineering-systems roadmap, evaluate new tools and functionality, and lead adoption or retirement decisions.
• Automate recurring CAD and PLM work with scripts, templates, tools, and API integrations, while creating training and lasting fixes for support issues.

Requirements

• Experience owning PLM and engineering tools for a hardware company whose teams depend on the managed data and processes.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with CAD tools such as 3DEXPERIENCE, beyond administration and configuration.
• Deep knowledge of release, change, and BOM management in CAD or PLM systems.
• Experience connecting engineering data to manufacturing and supply chain, including EBOM-to-MBOM and ERP item and BOM transfers.
• Scripting experience with EKL, VBA, Python, C#, or similar languages, plus experience building API integrations.
• Clear communication with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality leads, along with patience and ability to train users.
