Staff Strategic Field Application Engineer (Robotics)

Location: In-person role based in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.

Base pay: $116,000–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead delivery strategy and architecture for scalable, multi-site robotics programs, including infrastructure, network integration, and global expansion planning.
• Act as the primary technical contact for strategic enterprise accounts and align Sales, Customer Success, Support, and R&D with customer business goals.
• Own program-level Statements of Work and repeatable integration playbooks that meet industry and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate robot data and workflows with CMMS, asset management, and analytics systems, while leading deployment diagnosis and performance optimization.
• Define adoption and value-measurement frameworks for robot programs and fleet utilization.
• Lead early product testing, translate field feedback into product requirements, and mentor FAEs and integration teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a Master’s degree in technology integration, robotics, or complex systems engineering.
• Experience overseeing high-complexity technical deployments across hardware, software, and operational workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, operators, and business stakeholders.
• Technical versatility with CAD, enterprise networking including VLANs and VPNs, and Python or C++ APIs.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with large-scale manufacturing or logistics workflows.
• Comfort working with ambiguity in early-stage product deployments and building structure where none exists.
• Go-to-market judgment and the ability to identify opportunities for account expansion.
