What you will do

• Evaluate materials, properties, components, systems, and production techniques from a reliability perspective.
• Advise design engineering on the selection, application, and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Define reliability requirements and recommend design methods, test methods, and statistical process control procedures.
• Develop acceleration techniques, analytical tools, and reliability models to identify potential product, packaging, process, and system issues early.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs and policies while managing multiple projects.
• Improve quality documentation, receiving inspection procedures, supplier quality plans, FMECA, CRAMS test plans, PQP, and ERAMS activities.

Requirements

• Depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized quality or reliability engineering discipline.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend practices that improve products, processes, or services.
• Ability to lead others in solving complex problems and apply sophisticated analytical judgment.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Work location: Santa Clara, California, United States.
• Travel: approximately 20%.
