Accounting Internship

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States; hybrid workplace.

What you will do

• Shadow accounting professionals and support daily department activities.
• Research, enter, organize, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and related financial reports.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including account reconciliations and accruals.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and follow-ups.
• Analyze financial data, flag discrepancies, and help prepare documentation for internal reviews and external audits.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
• Completed coursework in financial accounting, managerial accounting, or related subjects.
• Understanding of accounting and financial principles, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
• Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Integrity when handling sensitive information, collaborative behavior, receptiveness to feedback, and eagerness to learn.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP.
