Pre-Sales Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Staines-upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom; willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50%.

What you will do

• Lead discovery with prospects and customers to identify agentic AI use cases with measurable business value.
• Build rapid proofs of concept and solutions on the hirify.global Loops agentic platform.
• Present technical walkthroughs to architects and business cases to executives.
• Partner with Account Executives on technical validation and with product and engineering teams on platform development.
• Convert recurring customer patterns and field learnings into product roadmap input and native platform capabilities.
• Train core presales teams on platform capabilities and digital workers through global workshops.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles, including discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and objection handling.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, multi-agent design, tool use, human-in-the-loop patterns, and orchestration platforms such as Agent Studio or comparable tools.
• Ability to distinguish viable, valuable use cases from distractions and scope focused proofs of concept.
• Understanding of asset-intensive industries such as enterprise asset management, field service management, manufacturing, or aerospace and defense.
• Ability to communicate with both developers working with APIs and executives evaluating risk and ROI.
• Strong customer focus and product judgment; experience shipping products from zero to one is encouraged.

Nice to have

• Experience in forward-deployed, applied AI, or founding engineering roles at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
• Experience translating field learnings into product requirements or roadmap input.
• Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and agent evaluation frameworks.
• Experience deploying software in asset-intensive or regulated industries, including aerospace and defense, energy, or manufacturing.
