Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work model; company offices are located in New York, London, Singapore, and Tel Aviv.

What you will do

• Build customer-specific AI skills as versioned, tested engineering artifacts, including behavioral instructions, executable code, domain knowledge, and terminology handling.
• Integrate customer tools, APIs, webhooks, and MCP servers through governed platform interfaces and validate end-to-end latency.
• Create evaluation suites with ground-truth scenarios and acceptance cases drawn from customer domains.
• Develop ASR vocabulary biasing and TTS pronunciation assets for customer brands, products, and acronyms.
• Tune production skills using knowledge updates, behavior configuration, checkups, and real-world feedback.
• Promote broadly useful customer capabilities into reusable platform foundation components and codify delivery patterns.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing engineering role with production coding responsibility.
• Production experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent development, RAG pipelines, tool or function calling, evaluation frameworks, and large-scale deployment.
• Ability to author and evaluate AI skills, write production-quality code, design failure-focused test scenarios, and measure behavioral consistency.
• Experience building reusable integrations around external APIs, webhooks, and tools, with an understanding of latency across distributed calls.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar domains, conduct discovery, translate customer conversations into engineering requirements, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to scope work, sequence delivery, manage trade-offs, and remove blockers in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Production experience with MCP servers, agent frameworks, or multi-agent coordination.
• Experience with speech or NLP pipelines, including ASR vocabulary biasing and TTS pronunciation customization.
• Familiarity with DeepEval, Ragas, Langfuse, Opik, or comparable evaluation and observability tools.
• Experience with real-time constraints, multi-tenant platforms, and reusable engineering playbooks or benchmarks.
