Solution Architect (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Katowice, Poland, with visits to the Katowice or Gdańsk office; candidates must be located in Poland and hold EU citizenship.

Salary: UoP 18,000–22,000 PLN gross/month; B2B 135–180/190 PLN net/hour.

What you will do

• Define, validate, maintain, and govern end-to-end solution and technical architecture for engineering and safety assessment platforms.
• Develop High-Level Design Documents and document architectural constraints, principles, standards, and governance.
• Model architecture and maintain relevant views using Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA).
• Evaluate tools from architecture, integration, compliance, and operability perspectives.
• Facilitate architecture reviews, support technical decisions, and identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and mitigations.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, IT, and solution-provider stakeholders on the architecture roadmap and solution evolution.

Requirements

• Experience in solution and technical architecture design, architecture governance, reviews, standards, and design principles.
• Experience with High-Level Design Documentation, Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA), requirements engineering, interface definition, and data-flow modelling.
• Knowledge of scalability, maintainability, interoperability, security, compliance-by-design, and technical risk assessment.
• Experience with tool evaluation, solution selection, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and architecture roadmap development.
• Experience in complex or regulated engineering environments, with strong analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluent English at B2/C1 level; willingness to travel abroad occasionally and visit offices in Katowice or Gdańsk.

Nice to have

• Safety engineering and safety assessment experience.
• Product Lifecycle Management and digital engineering ecosystem knowledge.
• Understanding of model-based engineering concepts.
