Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture, Global Commercial & Medical IT (Biotech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work mode with off-campus eligibility. A Polish work permit and residency are required.

Base compensation: PLN 348,000–478,500 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Define and govern enterprise architecture standards for Commercial and Medical IT.
• Lead architecture for strategic initiatives and align solution designs with target-state architecture.
• Develop application integration strategies using secure, scalable patterns, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Create multi-year enterprise architecture and business capability roadmaps.
• Rationalize the application portfolio by reducing duplication, fragmentation, integration gaps, and total cost of ownership.
• Evaluate emerging cloud, automation, AI/ML, and generative AI capabilities while maintaining security and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible IT experience, including preferably global or enterprise-level roles.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture leadership roles.
• Enterprise Architecture experience in pharmaceutical or biotech organizations, including ownership of Commercial or Medical platforms such as CRM, omnichannel engagement, field operations, patient services, and promotional or medical content.
• Knowledge of Commercial and Medical business capabilities, regulatory requirements, enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architecture, and supporting data architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and technology roadmap skills across global business and IT teams.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA.
• TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent architecture framework experience.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, customer or master data, and enterprise integration tools.
• Experience integrating AI/ML, generative AI, automation, or cloud capabilities in regulated environments.
• Agile and SAFe delivery experience.
