Travel Security Specialist (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Implement holistic travel security processes for business travelers.
• Identify global security, safety, infrastructure, medical, and regulatory risks and initiate mitigation measures.
• Manage global risk monitoring and travel management service providers.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to assess planned travel and provide situation updates.
• Plan and oversee trips to high-risk regions, including transport, routes, accommodation, and local providers.
• Coordinate assistance during travel disruptions and deliver security trainings, courses, and briefings.

Requirements

• University degree in security, risk management, or a related field with initial practical experience, or professional security training with several years of experience.
• Initial experience in travel security management, preferably in a globally operating company or service provider.
• Familiarity with global threat monitoring providers, tools, platforms, and travel booking processes.
• Ability to assess travel risks from multiple sources and turn them into practical, audience-specific advice.
• Basic OSINT investigation and strong presentation skills.
• Fluent German and very good written and spoken English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience operating in high-risk regions, preferably with a protection mandate for personnel, assets, or organizations.
• Experience in a security control, operations, or situation center.
