Head (f/m/d) of Real Estate Germany

What you will do

• Develop and execute the long-term corporate real estate strategy for Germany.
• Lead the transformation toward a connected, data-driven, and AI-enabled real estate organization.
• Optimize the portfolio through acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, and space consolidation.
• Oversee property, facility, and site operations, including major development and refurbishment projects.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, investment planning, service providers, compliance, sustainability, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Lead more than 160 employees and build relationships with senior stakeholders, business units, and external authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive corporate real estate experience, including at least five years in senior leadership for the German market.
• Broad expertise in strategy, asset and portfolio management, construction, leasing, facility management, property management, vendor management, and operational governance.
• Experience leading complex transformations and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of German real estate regulations, EHS, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Fluent German and English are required.
