What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for steel, aluminum, stainless steel, cutting, forming, welding, and coating processes.
• Lead sourcing and cost-reduction projects from planning through implementation.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, supplier agreements, and long-term partnerships.
• Analyze spend, commodity pricing, market trends, and total cost of ownership to identify savings opportunities.
• Identify supply capacity, quality, delivery, and continuity risks and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and supplier performance teams on category strategies and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability to travel 10–20%.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier relationship management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience executing sourcing projects, achieving measurable cost savings, and negotiating supplier agreements.
• Strong project management, organization, prioritization, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, spend analysis, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing fabricated metal components, including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, welding, forming, or coatings.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
