Director of FP&A (SaaS)

Location: United States; remote-first environment. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually base salary, with a potential bonus.

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and integrated multi-entity three-statement modeling.
• Own monthly and quarterly reporting, KPI dashboards, and presentations for executives, the Board, investors, and lenders.
• Analyze variances, revenue trends, profitability, and SaaS metrics including ARR, retention, churn, CAC, and LTV.
• Partner with the CFO and functional leaders on growth opportunities, pricing, investments, resource allocation, and operational improvements.
• Manage 13-week cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, treasury activities, debt management, and covenant compliance.
• Lead the rollout and optimization of FP&A, ERP, reporting, and BI tools, using AI and automation to improve financial visibility and reduce manual work.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based software business and in a global, multi-country organization.
• Experience building integrated three-statement financial models and managing budgeting, reporting, cash flow forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems or financial planning and reporting tools, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities.

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth SaaS environment.
• Experience implementing financial systems, reporting tools, or AI-powered automation.
• Experience with treasury management, debt covenant compliance, lender reporting, or M&A.
• Experience leading and developing FP&A team members across time zones.
