Senior People Technology Solutions Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the practical adoption of AI, automation, orchestration, application extension, and emerging technologies across People Technology Services.
• Design and deliver solutions using generative AI, AI agents, agentic workflows, APIs, MCP, workflow automation, low-code platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Prototype and iteratively develop proofs of concept and production implementations, using evidence to guide scaling, refinement, or discontinuation.
• Apply AI patterns including retrieval and grounding, context management, tool calling, structured outputs, evaluation, guardrails, observability, and human oversight.
• Partner with People & Places, IT, service management, data, integration, security, and architecture teams on cross-platform solutions.
• Build adoption through technical recommendations, white papers, demonstrations, documentation, mentoring, and reusable solution patterns.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across enterprise technology, application development, automation, HR technology, digital transformation, platform development, or technology consulting.
• Hands-on experience delivering solutions with generative AI, automation, APIs, integrations, workflow technologies, or modern application development.
• Strong understanding of generative AI and agentic architectures, including orchestration, retrieval, tool use, evaluation, guardrails, and human oversight.
• Experience leading complex initiatives across systems, teams, or organizational boundaries without relying on formal management authority.
• Working knowledge of HR technology and HRIS concepts, workforce data, integrations, reporting, security, and sensitive employee information.
• Strong communication, facilitation, mentoring, Agile, rapid prototyping, and iterative delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday HCM, Workday integrations, Workday APIs, Workday Orchestrate, or Workday Extend.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, cloud services, integration platforms, RAG, vector search, observability, or AI evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with MCP, coding agents such as Codex, ServiceNow, Moveworks, Microsoft Power Apps, or Power Automate.
• Experience applying security, privacy, responsible AI, data governance, monitoring, or evaluation controls.
