AI Solution Architect

What you will do

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across products, integrations, data, infrastructure and AI.
• Lead architecture decisions, document trade-offs in ADRs and align internal teams, clients and suppliers.
• Design and integrate AI-powered agents, multimodal retrieval, assistants, document analysis and advanced search.
• Shape pre-sales engagements by turning client needs and AI ambitions into realistic, buildable solutions.
• Build proofs of concept, stay close to delivery teams and adjust architecture based on implementation feedback.
• Mentor engineers and tech leads, contribute to reference architectures and participate in technical interviews.

Requirements

• At least five years of software engineering experience, plus experience as a solution architect or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, microservices, event-driven, retrieval-augmented generation and agentic architectures.
• Production experience designing and shipping LLM-based solutions, including retrieval, embeddings, vector databases, agents, tools and evaluation.
• Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, C4, UML, ADRs and secure delivery practices including OWASP, threat modelling and SAST/DAST.
• Knowledge of AI services on at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP, with the ability to build convincing proofs of concept.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
