Product Design New Grad (2027 Start)

Location: San Francisco, California, or Seattle, Washington

Salary: $128,000–$140,000 USD per year, excluding potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Work with cross-functional teams to build features for the Databricks platform.
• Manage projects end to end, from discovery and ideation through final design prototypes for engineering implementation.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ship platform features.
• Conduct customer research to understand user needs and improve product design.

Requirements

• Graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a bachelor's or master's degree in HCI or a related design discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in the design process while maintaining design quality.
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, and information architecture.
• Some hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python.
• Ability to use analytical and user research skills to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to communicate complex topics and design perspectives to engineers, customers, and field partners.
