Clinical Specialist (AI/Healthtech)

Location: Hybrid work from the Austin or Barcelona office hub

What you will do

• Apply clinical and scientific expertise to validate the accuracy, credibility, and clinical relevance of Aika's outputs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, commercial, and scientific teams on platform development and client delivery.
• Contribute to demos, onboarding, case studies, scientific writing, publications, or product validation depending on the selected scientific vertical.
• Maintain rigorous standards for quality, documentation, and data integrity.
• Track developments in clinical research, regulatory expectations, and AI in healthcare.
• Provide ongoing scientific guidance to clients and support their use of the platform when embedded after onboarding.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or a related scientific or regulatory function in pharma, biotech, or a CRO.
• Advanced background in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, biotech, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data quality and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, AI-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with FDA, EMA, or equivalent regulatory submissions.
• Exposure to digital health, healthtech, or AI-powered clinical tools.
• Published scientific work or experience producing client-facing scientific materials.
