Workday Platform Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure and maintain Workday technical solutions across HCM and Finance.
• Design advanced and composite reports, calculated fields, business processes, and condition rules.
• Support Workday integrations, tenant management, security configuration, and release processes.
• Develop lightweight applications with Workday Extend and support PRISM Analytics capabilities.
• Translate business requirements from HR, finance, IT, product, design, engineering, and operations stakeholders into maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday technical experience.
• Deep experience with Workday Report Writer, including advanced and composite reports.
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields, business process configuration, condition rules, and the Workday security framework.
• Experience with PRISM Analytics or Workday Extend, plus familiarity with Workday tenant management and release processes.
• Applicants must be authorized to work remotely in the United States; eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro certifications.
• Experience with Workday Extend application development and PRISM data ingestion and modeling.
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-region Workday deployments.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll or Workday Financials.
