Team Lead Operations (Biotechnology)

Location: Visp, Switzerland; onsite work in a four-shift system

hirify.global is a global life sciences company building a new biotechnological production plant in Visp.

What you will do

• Lead, assess, and coach a diverse operations team through project implementation and routine vaccine production.
• Manage daily production activities, set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
• Investigate production deviations, correct issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Coordinate with team leaders and cross-functional departments to improve efficiency and share best practices.
• Oversee shift handovers, inspections, and the timely implementation of training plans.

Requirements

• Several years of leadership experience in biotechnological production, such as shift team leadership, deputy leadership, or system specialist work.
• Strong understanding of large-scale production processes, including relevant process steps and systems.
• Experience with manufacturing plants and coordinating complex workflows and resources.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and practices.
• Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to work in a four-shift system in Visp, Switzerland.
