Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Onsite in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland, supporting the Tolochenaz facilities

Salary: CHF 111,200–166,800

What you will do

• Support environmental, health, and safety projects for manufacturing facilities and equipment or line development projects.
• Develop and implement EHS programs, procedures, documentation, training, and reporting processes.
• Monitor site indicators, prevention activities, compliance, audits, and required records.
• Prepare environmental impact studies and reports for construction projects, plant processes, and permit changes.
• Analyze EHS data and trends, develop corrective and preventive actions, and recommend improvements.
• Work with regulatory agencies to resolve compliance issues, establish permit requirements, and support regulatory audits.

Requirements

• Federal professional examination qualification as a Specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Protection (STPS), or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Health and Safety, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience supporting a manufacturing site, including environmental programs, permitting, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Swiss Confederation regulations and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements, or the ability to learn them.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision on complex projects and assignments.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French required.
