Clinical Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable pipelines that ingest, clean, and structure clinical data.
• Apply clinical data standards, including CDISC SDTM and ADaM, within pipeline logic.
• Translate clinical requirements into engineering specifications in partnership with Clinical Data Leads.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring across pipelines.
• Debug pipeline issues and document the underlying logic for the data team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering with production data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Familiarity with clinical or healthcare data.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with CDISC SDTM or ADaM.
• Experience with ETL and orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt.
• Exposure to healthtech or life sciences data environments.
