Weapons Instructor (Boeing P-8A Poseidon)

What you will do

• Deliver classroom, simulator, synthetic, and scenario-based instruction on Boeing P-8A weapons employment and mission systems.
• Provide engineering training for P-8A engineers, CMMS users, platform managers, and RAF personnel operating the VMT.
• Develop, review, and maintain lesson plans, student guides, training materials, and courseware.
• Mentor students and conduct assessments, evaluations, examinations, feedback, and coaching.
• Support operational conversion, continuation, and mission qualification training programs.
• Maintain training records and contribute to continuous improvement of the training organization.

Requirements

• Experience in the tactical employment of airborne weapons and mission systems.
• Operational experience in maritime patrol, ISR, surveillance, or military aviation.
• Experience delivering formal military instruction, mentoring, or aircrew and groundcrew training.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required national security clearances.
• Completion of the Defence Train the Trainer Phase 3 course.

Nice to have

• Direct operational experience on the Boeing P-8A Poseidon platform.
• Experience developing military training syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Experience operating in coalition or NATO environments.
