Product Engineer

What you will do

• Lead new product development for hoses and couplings from concept and design through analysis, validation testing, and production handoff.
• Develop product assembly methods, drawings, calculations, specifications, and design improvements using CAD and standard engineering practices.
• Work with manufacturing and purchasing on materials, tooling, production feasibility, subcontracting, labor, and material cost estimates.
• Oversee the manufacture, assembly, and testing of newly developed products, including test setup and data analysis.
• Investigate product failures from field use and testing, and provide technical support to sales and customers.
• Travel to customer applications to investigate current and future opportunities and represent the company during customer interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience designing fabricated or assembled components.
• Experience with mathematical modeling, simulations, control theories, industrial equipment, and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, material properties, and failure modes.
• Strong mechanical inclination, hands-on design experience, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
