Financial Controlling Intern (Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid in Portugal, with locations in Lisbon and Amadora; remote work permitted within Portugal

What you will do

• Support financial reporting for Real Estate activities, including reviews of actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Assist with month-end closing, risk and opportunity reporting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor gross cost, free cash flow, profit impact, and capital expenditure metrics.
• Prepare regular management reports, ad hoc analyses, and presentations.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and implementation of finance tools.
• Use AI tools to streamline routine finance and reporting tasks.

Requirements

• Currently studying toward or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, proactive communication, and a team-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with databases, SAP, Power BI, thinkcell, Analysis for Excel, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
