TL;DR
Senior Specialist Financial Reporting & Controlling - The Netherlands (Financial Reporting/Controlling): Leading financial close, statutory reporting, accounting compliance, tax activities, and business partnering for Organon’s Dutch entities with an accent on Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, internal controls, and SAP S/4HANA reporting. Focus on improving reporting processes, resolving audit findings, assessing strategic transactions, and translating complex financial topics into clear business insights.
Location: Oss, Netherlands. Hybrid work arrangement with the option to work from home 2 or 3 days per week.

What you will do
- Lead the monthly close process for the Netherlands Sales Hub.
- Prepare accurate US GAAP, Dutch GAAP, management, statutory, and annual financial reporting.
- Use SAP S/4HANA and Workiva to support reporting, disclosures, and financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and SOX controls.
- Partner with Tax on corporate income tax reporting, filings, transfer pricing, and profitability analyses.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, audit resolution, and financial assessments of strategic projects and legal entity changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA or Registered Accountant license and at least 5 years of relevant accounting, controlling, or financial reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, resilient, and able to manage changing priorities.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with tax accounting, Dutch corporate income tax, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of CSRD reporting requirements.
- Big Four experience and familiarity with Workiva.
- Dutch language skills.
