TL;DR
Senior Transformation Controller (Finance): Reviewing and steering transformation business cases, costs, benefits, forecasts, and value delivery with an accent on financial insight, strategic judgement, and executive reporting. Focus on challenging investment assumptions, tracking deviations and dependencies, and translating complex transformation data into clear decisions for senior management.
Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid working
Salary: €6,378–€8,504 per month based on 36 hours

What you will do
- Review and challenge business cases for transformation initiatives, assessing assumptions, value drivers, risks, dependencies, costs, benefits, and payback.
- Track actual costs and benefits against plans and forecasts, identifying deviations and management attention points.
- Challenge financial developments with business leads, business units, finance colleagues, and the Transformation Office.
- Prepare insight-driven updates and steering committee materials for senior management and the Management Board.
- Translate complex financial and transformation information into clear storylines and decision support.
- Professionalize value management through reporting rhythms, templates, definitions, standards, and disciplined financial reporting.
Requirements
- University degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Substantial experience in controlling, performance management, business planning, strategic finance, transformation finance, or consulting.
- Experience reviewing business cases, monitoring investments, tracking costs and benefits, and preparing forecasts and reports for senior management.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch is preferred.
- Ability to operate at senior level, distinguish key issues from detail, challenge assumptions constructively, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
