FP&A Intern (Finance)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid position with 3 days per week in the office. Must be based in the Netherlands for the full 6-month internship.

Allowance: €625 per month for 40 hours and 5 days per week, plus full reimbursement of travel expenses.

What you will do

• Execute the forecast financialization process using master data and stakeholder inputs.
• Support month-end closing and maintain accurate, consistent financial data.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Analyze business performance, variances, trends, and risks to support recommendations.
• Track marketing and commercial spend, manage budgets, and support financial controls.
• Improve master data quality, purchase order and invoice processes, ad hoc analyses, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• EU working rights are required.
• EU citizens must be enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the internship; non-EU students must be enrolled at a Dutch university for the full duration.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency and the ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Analytical mindset, stakeholder management, ownership, clear communication, and strong time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Power BI or SAP.
