Transaction Advisory Services Manager

Location: Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Grand Rapids, MI; or Southfield, MI, United States. The role follows a principally in-person model with flexibility determined with the supervisor and team. Approximately 20% overnight travel is required.

Salary: $123,000–$185,000 base salary annually.

What you will do

• Deliver transaction-oriented accounting and reporting support for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts.
• Perform buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital, and assets and liabilities analysis.
• Research industry and target-company data, analyze financial statements under GAAP, and assess the sustainability of performance.
• Build and review financial forecasts and financial models.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and engagement letters; present findings and participate in client meetings and site visits.
• Supervise work, support project scoping, organize multiple engagements, and manage deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of experience in transaction advisory, audit, consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience with financial due diligence, financial analysis, forecasting, and GAAP-based financial statements.
• Approximately 20% overnight travel and occasional client site visits.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
