Wet Seals CAD Design Engineer

What you will do

• Review drawing office requests and establish design requirements.
• Prepare accurate general arrangement, manufacturing, proposal, detail, and component drawings using Solid Edge.
• Perform quality self-checks and ensure compliance with engineering processes, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Process Global Change Notifications, maintain records, and submit monthly performance reports.
• Provide timely CAD and engineering support to Global Engineering and site technical offices across countries.
• Conduct root cause analysis, prepare corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant design office experience with precision components and assemblies.
• Experience with CAD software, preferably Solid Edge for 2D and 3D design.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design, manufacturing techniques, fits and tolerances, and GD&T symbols.
• Advanced Spanish is required.
• Intermediate English is required; advanced English is desirable.
