Area Product Owner - Online Trading (Assistant Vice President)

What you will do

• Own and manage the online trading platform backlog, gathering requirements from private banking clients and front office teams.
• Define product roadmaps, prioritize user stories, and drive product value realization in line with business and client needs.
• Translate complex multi-asset trading requirements into user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria with business analysts and software engineers.
• Lead refinement, grooming, sprint planning, user verification testing, change management, and go-live activities.
• Develop user training materials, facilitate training, and prepare rollout communications to support adoption.
• Monitor feature usage, engagement metrics, project risks, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree qualification; an MBA or related qualification is advantageous.
• 10–15 years of experience in business analysis, product management, or product ownership, preferably in private banking or financial services.
• Experience with digital trading platforms and investment products including equities, structured products, mutual funds, fixed income, FX, and other asset classes.
• Strong understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle, order management, execution, settlement, and investment servicing.
• Hands-on experience in Agile delivery, including product backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of private banking regulations and online trading compliance standards, with strong communication, influencing, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• MBA degree or related qualification.
• Experience supporting digital investment journeys and portfolio servicing for wealth management or private banking clients.
• Interest in adopting AI-enabled tools and practices for requirements analysis, documentation, and agile product delivery.
